OpsValidator is a small utility that interfaces with the popular Nmap scanning tool. It's use is the assist validating PING, SSH, and RDP across a large set of devices in a network. The primary use and idea was to scan entire networks after large network maintenance to verify no machines or VLANs were having issues after all the gear was brought back online. Past tools worked but were extremely slow. Working with Nmap speeds up the scanning dramatically with very little false positives, allowing the scan of 3000-5000 machines in only a few minutes. Attempts with PowerShell and other utilities took upwards of an hour or longer.
Once scans are complete, you may export the findings to a CSV which can later be compared against an earlier baseline scan (an easy tool is now built into Excel called Spreadsheet Compare).
You may download the tool here. Future documentation may be provided, although I have provided sample output and server list in the download file.
